I figured it was about time to bring some colour up here. This was one of my travel outfits from Paris. Nothing like cozy oversized shirt and oversized shorts. Don’t you agree? Of course it would look bomb af to be all dolled up parisian style in front of Eiffel tower and Arc de Triumph but when I am travelling I am also like… no no no. This is not gonna work. So I am left with these basics that make more space in luggage and make my life easier every time.
That day we visited Jardin du Luxembourg and they were really gorgeous. All the pink flowers there is heaven for me. Follow me on Instagram for more snaps and video here.
Even though I still have some Paris shots to share I still wanted to make some use out of these pre-trip ones. I have been searching for basic back skirt with ultra high waist for ever. It was just never high enough or not fitted enough. But then this gem poped up, I can’t wait to style it with oversized shirts and jackets (check selection of oversized pieces here). Also maybe you remember me styling this Adidas tee in white version a couple of times. Of course I needed to get the black version too! A classic.
If you have been following me you probably know that I live for oversized clothing. I have always been searching for that oversized model but then I just gave up and just learned how to recognize the right model that will look good on my body type in larger sizes. Because not all clothing actually looks good when you size up. Two tips that might be helpful is to always look for straight lines and boxy shapes. Tailored clothing rarely looks good as oversized but there are always exceptions. Of course I am always cheching the men section especially for sweaters. Best thing about having a men sweater are really long sleeves. But for this occasion I hoped on Asos which is my favourite store for online shopping and checked their selection on oversized clothing. It is not large but it is ok. This white shirt is on my to-buy list already!
Believe it or not, these shots were taken in Versailles. This palace is probably my favourite man build place on Earth to date. I am such a freak I visited it second time around last week. I just feel so inspired by such places, makes my juices flowin. Anyhow I am posting my Paris glimpses all the time on Instagram, follow up here!
